This 2024 Candidate Is Closing In On DeSantis In GOP Race And Has Raised A Sh*t Ton To Support It

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley has announced that her campaign raised over $11 million in the third quarter of this year.

According to a statement released by her campaign, Haley currently has $11.6 million in cash on hand, with $9.1 million available for primary spending. This puts her in close competition with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who reported raising $15 million during the same three-month period but only has $5 million in cash for the primaries.

While Haley's fundraising efforts are impressive, they still fall significantly short of former President Donald Trump's numbers. Trump's campaign recently announced that he raised over $45 million. However, Haley's campaign did report a surge in support, with nearly 40,000 new donors contributing between July 1 and September 30.

"We have seen a big surge in support and have real momentum," said Haley's spokesperson, Olivia Perez-Cubas. "Nikki is emerging as the candidate who can move America beyond the chaos and drama of the past and present, and we have the resources we need to do it."

In addition to her fundraising success, Haley has also experienced a boost in polling numbers following strong performances in the two Republican debates held so far. According to Real Clear Politics' average, Haley is currently polling at 7.2% nationally, placing her third behind DeSantis at 12.6% and Trump at 57.4%.

Haley's campaign has been strategically focusing on the early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire, with a particular emphasis on winning in her home state of South Carolina.

Despite her rising popularity, Haley recently found herself in a social media feud with Trump, who referred to her as a "birdbrain." However, Haley has interpreted this as a sign that the former president sees her as a serious threat to the party's nomination.
