Nebraska Governor Takes A Stand For Biological Reality With This Executive Order

Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen, a Republican, has taken a stand against radical leftist gender ideology by signing an executive order that establishes clear, biology-based definitions for the terms "male" and "female."

The order, which aims to counter the ongoing assault on reality, also provides definitions for other related terms such as "sex," "woman," "girl," "man," "boy," "mother," and "father."

In a press release, Governor Pillen emphasized the importance of common sense and the need to protect women's spaces and athletics. "It is common sense that men do not belong in women's only spaces," he stated. "As Governor, it is my duty to protect our kids and women's athletics, which means providing single-sex spaces for women's sports, bathrooms, and changing rooms."

The executive order requires state entities to operate in accordance with the provided definitions. It defines sex as the biological sex assigned to a person at birth, either male or female.

While the left struggles to define the term "woman," Governor Pillen's order makes it clear that both "woman" and "girl" refer to human females.

According to the order, a female is defined as an individual whose biological reproductive system is developed to produce ova, while a male is defined as an individual whose biological reproductive system is developed to fertilize the ova of a female.

The order acknowledges the legitimate reasons for distinguishing between the sexes in various contexts such as athletics, prisons, domestic violence shelters, locker rooms, restrooms, and other areas where biology, safety, and privacy are at stake.

Governor Pillen signed the order on Wednesday, and it took immediate effect. However, it will expire if a relevant law addressing the participation of biological males in female athletics and the provision of single-sex dedicated services and facilities is enacted in the future.
