Calley Means Just Resigned From The White House With A Message About 'Dark Forces' In DC

One of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s senior advisers, Calley Means, announced that he is stepping down from his White House post, declining to disclose the reason for his departure

According to Just The News, Means has been a prominent champion of the administration's Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) initiative and previously served as an adviser to Kennedys 2024 presidential campaign. He initially joined the White House last year as a special government employee before moving into a full-time role, reflecting his growing influence on health policy inside the administration.

"I am resigning from the White House with tremendous respect for President Trump and Bobby Kennedy," Means said on X. "They laid out a vision of combatting the entrenched, dark forces in DC that profit from Americans getting sick."

From a policy standpoint, Means highlighted his work on reforming federal dietary guidelines, advancing psychedelic reform, removing soda from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and targeting the removal of certain food dyes. Those priorities align with a broader conservative push to challenge bureaucratic capture and corporate interests that benefit from poor public health outcomes.

"More policy and cultural change has happened around these goals in the past 2 years than any time in history - and I know this movement is just getting started," he said. "It was an honor to advocate for MAHA moms in the administration."

His resignation raises questions about the internal battles over health policy in Washington, particularly as the administration confronts powerful lobbies tied to processed foods and pharmaceuticals. Yet Means parting words suggest that the MAHA agenda, rooted in personal responsibility and skepticism of entrenched federal and corporate power, will continue to shape the conservative health reform debate well beyond his tenure.
