In a shocking revelation, prominent conservative commentator Candace Owens has accused French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, of plotting her assassination.
Owens, who currently hosts the world's number one podcast, made the startling claim on social media.
According to Gateway Pundit, Owens stated in a post on Friday evening that she was contacted by a high-ranking French government official who provided her with what she deemed credible information about the alleged plot. The post, which quickly garnered significant attention, amassing over 66,000 likes and millions of views within hours, urged widespread sharing and called for U.S. authorities to investigate.
Owens wrote, Two days ago I was contacted by a high-ranking employee of the French Government. After determining this persons position and proximity to the French couple, I have deemed the information they gave me to be credible enough to share publicly in the event that something happens. In short, this person claims that the Macrons have executed upon and paid for my assassination. Yes, you read that correctly. More specifically, that the green light was given to a small team in National Gendarmerie Intervention Group. I am told there is one Israeli that is on this assassination squad and the plans were formalized.
The conservative commentator further alleged that the informant provided proof of their position within the French government. She also linked the claim to the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on September 10, suggesting that Kirks killer had trained with the French Foreign Legions 13th Demi-Brigade and involved multi-state coordination.
Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old, has been charged with capital murder for Kirks assassination and is currently awaiting trial in prison. Owens has repeatedly expressed doubt about his guilt. Furthermore, Owens claimed that she is unsure who in the American government can be trusted, as her source claimed some of our leaders are aware. She did not elaborate on who that means.
The National Gendarmerie Intervention Group, commonly known as GIGN (Groupe dIntervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale), is an elite tactical unit of the French National Gendarmerie, a military police force under the Ministry of the Interior. Established in 1973 following the Munich Olympics hostage crisis, GIGN specializes in counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, surveillance of national threats, protection of high-profile individuals, and operations against organized crime.
Owens accusation comes amid an escalating feud with the Macrons, stemming from her promotion of theories claiming that Brigitte Macron is transgender and was born male under the name Jean-Michel Trogneux. She is currently being sued by the couple in a Delaware court, despite living in Tennessee.
As of Saturday morning, there has been no public response from the French government, the Macrons, or U.S. authorities regarding these allegations. This story is developing, and The Gateway Pundit has been unable to find any independent corroboration of the assassination allegations.
While Owens' allegations are indeed shocking, they are yet to be substantiated. The silence from the French government, the Macrons, and U.S. authorities raises questions about the credibility of the claims. The lack of independent corroboration further adds to the uncertainty surrounding the allegations. As the story unfolds, it will be crucial to see how these entities respond and whether any verifiable evidence emerges to support Owens' claims.
