Oops! Chris Cuomo Spills The Truth Dems Prayed Youd Forget

NewsNation host Chris Cuomo expressed skepticism on Monday regarding claims made by Democrats that they refrained from releasing documents related to Jeffrey Epstein during former President Joe Biden's tenure due to the ongoing investigation into Ghislaine Maxwell.

Cuomo's comments came in response to Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett's assertion on CNN's "The Arena" that the "pending litigation" into Maxwell was a significant factor behind Democrats' inaction on the documents.

"The left is saying it's all about the victims. I don't buy it, okay?" Cuomo challenged on his show "CUOMO." He questioned the sincerity of the Democrats' concern for the victims, asking, "It wasn't about the victims wanting transparency and you wanting it for them during the Biden administration? Or before that, when like only two of you ever asked about it?"

Cuomo further dismissed the argument that the Maxwell investigation prevented the release of other related documents. "Oh, wait, hold on. The Maxwell investigation was still going on. We couldn't release anything. Who's going to believe that?" he queried. "So no other investigation could go on of other people at the same time that Ghislaine Maxwell was being investigated? Really? Anyone supposed to believe that?"

According to Western Journal, SiriusXM host Stephen A. Smith echoed Cuomo's sentiments on his show "Straight Shooter with Stephen A." on Wednesday. Smith criticized the Democratic Party for not advocating for the release of the Epstein files during Biden's presidency.

"Ladies and gentlemen, keep in mind that the Epstein files were in existence and free to have been open during the Biden administration! You were there for four years!" Smith exclaimed. "How come you didn't open it as a Democratic party then!? What am I missing!? why didn't you do it if it's so important now!?"

Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman also expressed confusion over his party's actions on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" Thursday. "One of my questions is like we sat on those for four years, too," Fetterman said. "So, I mean, I don't really understand, you know, either. I mean, there are a lot of questions."

In a surprising turn of events, President Donald Trump urged House Republicans to vote for the release of the Epstein files on Sunday. This came after a discharge petition concerning the documents reached the required number to force a vote in the House of Representatives.

Amid the recent No Kings protests, some might perceive Donald Trump as a ruthless autocrat infringing on the Bill of Rights, stifling opposition, and intimidating the nation. However, the unfolding Epstein document saga suggests a more complex narrative.
