Hunter Biden launched a scathing verbal assault on journalist Miranda Devine during an appearance on the "Wide Awake Podcast" on November 6.
Devine, known for her investigative work on Biden's controversial laptop for the New York Post, has also penned a book titled "Laptop from Hell" on the subject. Biden's remarks were harsh, targeting both Devine's character and appearance, as he suggested that her demise would go unnoticed by the public.
According to the Daily Caller, Biden stated, "Theres no ethics in what someone as horrendously ugly as Miranda Devine, physically and in terms of her ethics, does and that goes for Daily Mail but theyre whores."
He further accused Devine of being motivated by financial gain, adding, "Theyre whores for money and she does it because she makes money. And when she goes to sleep at night Im sure she sleeps just fine, but I dont know anybody that is going to be mourning her when shes gone."
The controversy surrounding Hunter Biden's laptop began when the New York Post broke the story on October 14, 2020. Despite Devine's absence from the byline, the report faced immediate censorship from Twitter, which restricted users from sharing it.
In the days following, over 50 former intelligence officials expressed skepticism about the laptop's authenticity. However, the Daily Caller News Foundation soon acquired a complete copy and confirmed its legitimacy through a cybersecurity expert.
The laptop's contents, as published by the Post, included emails suggesting a meeting between then-Vice President Joe Biden, his son, and a Burisma executive. Additionally, the laptop exposed Hunter Biden's involvement with narcotics and solicitation of prostitutes across various locations.
Devine's book also highlights a 2019 text exchange between Biden and his therapist, Keith Ablow, where they jested about President Biden's mental state. Ablow remarked, "Your dad is the answer," referring to the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates, and added, "Any man who can triumph over dementia is a giant. Think what he could do for our nations needed recovery." Hunter Biden's response was reportedly, "Youre such an asshole but that made me laugh out loud."
The ongoing saga of Hunter Biden's laptop continues to fuel debates over media ethics and political accountability. As the story unfolds, questions remain about the implications of the laptop's revelations and the motivations behind its coverage.
