President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to the United Kingdom, urging the nation to address its illegal immigration challenges decisively to prevent potential internal collapse.
He advocated for the use of all necessary measures, including military intervention, to tackle the issue. Immigration enforcement was a cornerstone of Trump's administration in the United States, reflecting his commitment to national security and sovereignty.
According to The Post Millennial, Trump remarked, "I think your situation is very similar. You know, you have people coming in. I told the Prime Minister I would stop it. And it doesn't matter if you call out the military, it doesn't matter what means you use, but ... it destroys countries from within, and we're actually now removing a lot of the people that came into our country."
These comments were made during a joint appearance with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Trump further emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating, "It's a very hard chore. It's a very, we were given a very, very bad hand. Millions of people came in from prisons and mental institutions. We have to remove them, and we are removing them. We have no choice. And I feel very strongly about it."
Trump's tenure saw the deployment of the National Guard to assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in curbing illegal immigration and crime across the United States, including in California and Washington, DC. The National Guard was also mobilized in 19 states to aid ICE with immigration case processing.
In addition to immigration, Trump and Starmer discussed the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel. Trump called for the immediate release of hostages held by Hamas. The dialogue also touched upon a tech agreement between the US and the UK, highlighting the importance of international cooperation in technology and security.
