In a decisive move to uphold law and order, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem participated in a pre-dawn operation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Chicago.

The operation led to the apprehension of five illegal aliens, each with a history of criminal activity. Among those detained were individuals with convictions for driving under the influence with a child passenger, violent assault, and charges related to domestic violence, harassment, obstruction, and felony stalking.

As reported by Breitbart, Secretary Noem emphasized the administration's commitment to public safety, stating, President Trump has been clear: if politicians will not put the safety of their citizens first, this administration will. Just this morning, DHS took violent offenders off the streets with arrests for assault, DUI, and felony stalking. Our work is only beginning.

This operation underscores the administration's dedication to prioritizing the safety of American citizens, particularly when local politicians fail to act.

The individuals apprehended include Carlos Gonzalez-Leon, a Mexican national previously deported after being convicted of assaulting a family member; Jose Morales-Rodriguez, also from Mexico, who was convicted of aggravated DUI with a minor in the vehicle; and Juan Edaurdo Solarzano-Morales, another Mexican national, facing charges of domestic violence and felony stalking.

Additionally, Victor Manuel Rodriguez-Pantoja, an illegal entrant from Mexico, and Ruben Antonio Gonzalez-Querales, a Venezuelan national released into the U.S. under the current administration, were taken into custody.

This operation highlights the ongoing challenges faced by the nation in addressing illegal immigration and criminal activity. The administration's actions reflect a steadfast commitment to enforcing immigration laws and protecting communities from individuals who pose a threat to public safety.
