Jill Biden Calls Melania Trump After Assassination Attempt, Details Are SLIGHT...

In the wake of the shocking incident at a rally for former President Trump in Pennsylvania, current First Lady Jill Biden and her predecessor, Melania Trump, engaged in a conversation on Sunday afternoon.

This dialogue followed a statement released by Melania Trump earlier that day, in which she branded the attack on her husband as "heinous" and asserted that "political games are inferior to love."

According to The Hill, the office of the First Lady confirmed the conversation between the two women. Melania Trump, who has been noticeably absent from most public campaign events with her husband, is anticipated to make an appearance at the upcoming GOP convention in Wisconsin.

This interaction between the first ladies came on the heels of a phone call between President Biden and Trump on Saturday night. The President later expressed his relief at Trump's recovery, stating, "Im sincerely grateful that hes doing well and recovering. We had a short but good conversation." He further added that he and the first lady are keeping Trump and his family in their prayers.

The rally was disrupted on Saturday when a 20-year-old gunman, identified by the FBI as Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pa., opened fire from a nearby rooftop. One bullet grazed the former presidents ear in the ensuing chaos.

In response to the shooting, the Biden campaign suspended communications on Saturday, with plans to resume on Monday night, a campaign official disclosed to The Hill.
