Heart-Pounding Drama: Trump Issues SAVE Act Ultimatum To GOP

Written by Published

In a recent public address, former President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Republican legislators, emphasizing the urgency of passing the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act.

Trump cautioned that the integrity of the nation's voting system is at stake, stating, "our whole voting system is under siege."

According to Fox News, the SAVE Act proposes amendments to the National Voter Registration Act. It mandates states to verify the citizenship of voters participating in federal elections and calls for the removal of non-citizens from voter rolls. Trump, communicating through his personal social media platform, Truth Social, urged Republicans to support the Act, stating, "Republicans must pass the Save Act, or go home and cry yourself to sleep."

The former President expressed concern over the alleged voting rights granted to non-citizen illegal migrants, attributing this to the actions of "crooked Democrat Politicians" and a purportedly dishonest Justice Department. He stated, "Non citizen Illegal Migrants are getting the right to vote, being pushed by crooked Democrat Politicians who are not being stopped by an equally dishonest Justice Department."

The proposed legislation stipulates that voters must provide proof of citizenship through various forms of identification and documentation, including passports, government-issued photo IDs, military IDs, or a valid photo ID coupled with a birth certificate.

However, the Democratic leadership is rallying its House members to oppose the bill, arguing that it imposes "an extreme burden [on] countless Americans" seeking to exercise their voting rights. Trump countered this argument, accusing Democrats of resorting to dishonest tactics to secure victories. He stated, "The Dems cant win on their policies, the only way they can win is to CHEAT. They do it at every level of government, and they do it well. Thats how they get an incapacitated moron like Joe Biden elected."

The SAVE Act, even if it secures approval in the House, is expected to face significant resistance in the Democrat-dominated Senate. Moreover, President Biden has pledged to veto the legislation if it reaches his desk.

Trump concluded his message with a vow to intensify efforts against election fraud if he returns to office in November, promising severe penalties for offenders. He also issued a warning to Facebook founder and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, stating, "We already know who you are. DONT DO IT! ZUCKERBUCKS, be careful!"
