Sen. Fetterman Issues 'Daunting' Demand Over Biden's Debate Disaster

In the wake of concerns surrounding President Joe Biden's ability to remain the Democratic Party's presidential candidate following his debate performance, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) has stepped forward in his defense.

Fetterman, in a bold statement, urged his fellow Democrats to display more courage and steadfastness in their support for Biden.

According to Breitbart, Fetterman took to social media to express his unwavering support for Biden. "Like I just said on @CNN with @jimsciutto, Democrats need to get a spine or grow a setone or the other," he wrote. "Joe Biden is our guy." His comments came in the aftermath of a CNN interview with host Jim Sciutto, during which he lauded Biden's presidential capabilities.

In the interview, Fetterman extolled Biden as a "great president," refusing to let a single debate performance overshadow Biden's five-decade-long career. "Hes been a great president and he has a career of 50 years, and I refuse to throw that away because of 90 minutes of a rough debate," Fetterman asserted.

The senator further emphasized his faith in Biden, stating that he "wouldnt be here right now," if he "didnt absolutely believe" that Biden was the best candidate. He also insisted that Biden deserves unwavering support from the Democratic Party. "For Democrats, for Gods sake, get a spine or grow a set," Fetterman added, echoing his earlier sentiments.

Fetterman's staunch defense of Biden followed an ABC News interview between the president and host George Stephanopoulos. During this interview, Biden was questioned about his debate performance and the concerns raised about his ability to serve another term as president.

The recent presidential debate between Biden and former President Donald Trump sparked a wave of anxiety among Democrats, donors, and voters, with some even suggesting that Biden should withdraw from the presidential race.
