Rumor Has It That These TWO Have Agreed To Participate In The Peoples Town Hall

NewsNation, in collaboration with the social media giant Twitter, is reportedly set to host individual live town hall events featuring former President Donald Trump and Independent presidential candidate Robert F.

Kennedy Jr., as reported by Axios.

Insiders privy to the plans disclosed to Axios that both 2024 presidential hopefuls have purportedly consented to participate in "The People's Town Hall," an innovative video series allegedly being developed by the two prominent companies. The specifics, such as dates and venues, remain undisclosed. The Biden campaign, however, is said to have "not agreed" to participate, with a representative for the Democratic candidate refraining from commenting, as per the news outlet.

The proposed event, as described by Axios, would purportedly enable Twitter users to pose questions to the potential debate moderators both in advance of the town hall and live during the event. The series is expected to feature at least one NewsNation host and another journalist as moderators, who will have the final say on the selection of questions.

The concept for the town hall was reportedly initiated by Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino, who approached the cable network with the intention of transforming the social media platform into a space where "everyday people can have a greater voice in the political process," as stated by Axios. Twitter announced in April its plans to venture into television shows on its platform, with content partnerships such as PGA Tour, WWE, and sports host Jim Rome announced last week.

Both Trump and President Joe Biden have already committed to two live debates ahead of the November elections. The first debate is slated for June 27 on CNN, and the second is scheduled for September 10 on ABC News.
