Newly revealed cell phone data casts doubt on Nathan Wade's account of the timeline of his relationship with Fani Willis.
According to the lead prosecutor in the Georgia election fraud case involving Donald Trump, he and the Fulton County district attorney allegedly began their relationship in 2022, with less than 10 visits to her Hapeville residence before his hiring in 2021.
The data indicates that Wade stayed overnight at Willis' apartment prior to the claimed start of their romantic involvement. Trump's legal team uncovered over 2000 phone calls and nearly 12,000 text messages exchanged between the pair during an 11-month period in 2021, predominantly in the evenings.
In a statement, lawyers for the former president highlighted at least 35 instances where Wade's phone was stationary near Willis' Dogwood address, contradicting his reported movements. On specific dates, such as September 11, 2021, and November 29, 2021, Wade's phone activity near Willis' locations raises questions about the accuracy of their stated interactions.
The discrepancies in the cell phone data suggest a misalignment with Wade's narrative, prompting further scrutiny into the nature and timing of his relationship with Willis. This unfolding situation warrants ongoing monitoring for additional developments.
