Meghan Markle is said to have been incredibly upset by a recent South Park episode in which she was mocked and poked fun at.
Comedy Central aired the episode of South Park titled The Worldwide Privacy Tour, making fun of Markle and Prince Harry for supposedly deciding to move to the United States to find privacy. The New York Post reports that Markle is allegedly not too happy about the episode at all.
She is reportedly upset and overwhelmed by the episodes content, and she is annoyed by South Park but refuses to watch it all, according to a source that spoke with the Spectator. One commenter suggested that the episode could be the subject of a lawsuit.
Their legal team is casting an eye over the episode to see what is wrong, and what could be turned into something more sinister. This appears to be their course of action rather than laughing it off, enjoying the moment, and showing the world that they get the joke, said royal reporter Neil Sean to Fox News. He noted that the creators of South Park had not heard anything yet about a potential lawsuit that could be brought against them.
Representatives for Markle did not respond to a request for comment by the Post. However, one insider close to Markle said the latest new claims are rubbish.
South Park disclaimed at the top of its episode that all characters in the show are fictional, and they did not address the characters by name at any point in time.
The fictional animated characters wear the same clothes as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and look like real people. They are described in the episode as Canadian royalty who are looking for privacy, and they are referred to as the prince and his wife. However, viewers of the episode could quickly identify who they are poking fun at.
The wife character is called a sorority girl, actress, influencer and victim,. She later replies, Yeah, thats me.
Throughout the episode, the couple continues to ask for privacy as they move from town to town drawing attention to themselves and even promoting a book on a show called Good Morning Canada.
The host of the fact talk show asks, Isnt it true, sir, that your questionable wife has her own TV show and hangs out with celebrities and does fashion magazines?
This is all a dig at the royal couple, and they appear to be pretty upset about it.
