Oliver North Urges DOJ To Bring Charges Against Hamas Leaders For American Deaths: Calls For These Restrictions (Video)

Retired Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North has proposed a comprehensive strategy for the United States to aggressively address threats emanating from Iran and to back Israel in its ongoing conflict with Hamas.

In an interview with FOX News, North suggested that Israel's counter-terrorism strategy against the Palestinian group in Gaza is more nuanced than what is generally portrayed in the media. He further emphasized that the United States needs to implement a series of measures to counter the threats posed by these groups, especially given the injuries sustained by U.S. servicemembers abroad and the American lives lost in the Hamas invasion.

"If they turn Hezbollah loose from their bases in Lebanon and Syria to attack Israel, it should not come as a surprise that Iranian-built missiles, whether they're fired from Iran or from Lebanon or from, God forbid, Gaza, that they will soon be firing at U.S. naval assets in the Mediterranean," North warned.

North urged President Biden to reinstate all existing sanctions against the Raisi regime by Saturday. He also advised the President to lift his ongoing restrictions on U.S. energy production to counterbalance the potential reduction in oil exports to the United States that would likely result from such sanctions. North argued that this would also decrease the revenue stream for the terror-supporting nation.

North further suggested that if Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon were to attack Israel, the United States should hold Tehran accountable and "act with devastating effect to prevent further threats to U.S. personnel and assets."

He also called for the Justice Department to formally indict Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, and Hamas' Gaza chief Yahya Sinwar on charges of assassinating American citizens, following reports of 30 Americans being killed or kidnapped from Israel.

North pointed out that while Qatar, which has reportedly acted as a mediator between the United States and Hamas, does not have an extradition treaty with Washington, the next best course of action would be to issue global law enforcement alerts for Haniyeh and Sinwar.

"An Interpol posting of those guys' faces in airports around the world might keep these thugs from traveling freely around to the whorehouses that they're known to visit," he stated.

North predicted that if the United States applies sufficient pressure on Iran, China might intervene to maintain its trade relations with Tehran, particularly for commodities like oil.

Given Gaza's land border with Egypt, North suggested that Biden should offer U.S. air traffic control resources at El-Arish International Airport in the Sinai Peninsula to Prime Minister Abdel el-Sisi. This, he said, would enable Egypt to prepare for the potential influx of refugees, as Hamas reportedly diverts humanitarian aid and funds towards its malevolent intentions.

"We are still the Great Satan [to Iran]. The Little Satan is the Israel that they want to destroy first. That's number one," North added.

"We have allowed, particularly since the Obama administration and now certainly in this administration, the Iranians to get away with all kinds of terrible things."
