Drug-Crazed Naked Man Steals An Ambulance, Leads To Police Chase

The New York Post reports that a naked man who appeared to be under the influence of drugs led police on a wild goose chase after he stole an ambulance.

According to witnesses, Bradley Jermaine Baker, 48, allegedly stole an ambulance and began to drive it away. The Bibb County Sheriffs Office reports that the suspect began to drive the ambulance erratically through downtown Macon, Georgia. Police also say Baker was found to be performing burnouts in the ambulance.

Allegedly, Baker led police on a chase before he departed from the ambulance and began to flee on foot. The Macon Telegraph obtained the warrant for his arrest, and it read that Baker departed from the ambulance completely nude and in full view of the public in the parking lot. The warrant also suggested that Baker appeared to be under the influence of cocaine or spice.

The suspect had active warrants in both Bibb and Douglas Counties in Georgia.

The New York Post reports that Baker is now facing additional charges of the influence of drugs, public indecency, driving with a suspended license, probation violation, theft by taking and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer for a felony offense.

Officers did not report how Baker could get his hands on the ambulance and drive away with it.

It has also been reported by The Macon Telegraph that Baker was previously charged in Florida for failure to register as a sex offender for sex crimes he was charged with in 1997. He did not follow through with his legal requirement to register as a sex offender after being found guilty of sexual crimes in 1997. Now, it seems Baker is again in trouble with the law.

He is currently being held without bond at the Bibb County Jail.
