Bernie Sanders Better Watch It After THESE Comments About The War In Israel

In a recent statement, Senator Bernie Sanders, a left-leaning Independent from Vermont, urged Israel to exercise "restraint" in its attacks on Gaza.

Sanders criticized Israel's comprehensive denial of essential resources such as food and water to Gaza, labeling it a severe breach of international law that only serves to harm innocent civilians.

Sanders acknowledged the United States' rightful solidarity with Israel in the face of Hamas' assault. However, he emphasized the necessity for restraint from Israeli forces and the importance of securing UN humanitarian access to Gaza. "Let us not forget that half of the two million people in Gaza are children. Children and innocent people do not deserve to be punished for the acts of Hamas," Sanders asserted.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the situation with a stern warning to Hamas. "Hamas will understand that by attacking us, they've made a mistake of historic proportions. We will exact a price that will be remembered by them and Israel's other enemies for decades to come," Netanyahu stated. He detailed the atrocities committed by Hamas, including kidnappings, mass murders, and brutal sexual assaults.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed on Wednesday that 22 Americans have been reported dead in the conflict. Other Americans, including family members of Blaze Media employee Ashton DeGroot, are currently stranded in Israel.

Republican Representative Cory Mills of Florida has been instrumental in assisting some Americans in evacuating from the Jewish State.

Sanders, in his statement, also highlighted the ongoing struggle against the blockade of Gaza and the deplorable living conditions faced by many Palestinians.

"For many, it is no secret that Gaza has been an open-air prison, with millions of people struggling to secure basic necessities. Hamas' terrorism will make it much more difficult to address that tragic reality and will embolden extremists on both sides, continuing the cycle of violence," Sanders concluded.
