Horrifying Details: Timeline Revealed In Case Of Massachusetts Nurse Accused Of Killing Her Three Children

Written by Published

Fox News reports that the day Lindsay Clancy allegedly attempted to murder her three children and kill herself started like a relatively normal day.

Reports suggest that she built a snowman with the children that day. She allegedly did kill the three children, but she was not successful in killing herself. Clancy ended up paralyzed but survived.

Prosecutors made this argument during the arraignment for Clancy in Plymouth County District Court. At 4:02 pm that day, Clancy searched for information on her phone about the kids' MiraLAX and takeout restaurants, according to prosecutors. They allege it was at that time that her plot to kill her children began.

By 6:11 pm, her husband, Patrick Clancy, was on the phone with 911 after Lindsay allegedly jumped from their bedroom window and was lying injured in the backyard. Prosecutors also said Patrick was still on the phone screaming to 911 personnel when he found his three children with exercise ropes tied around their necks.

Prosecutors went into great detail about what happened in the roughly two hours that started with Lindsay's Internet searches to Patrick's trip from their house to CVS to the restaurant and back.

Prosecutors stated that Lindsay searched for "kids Miralax and for takeout ThreeV." The first is a laxative product, and the second is a local restaurant near her home.

Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Sprague stated the following:

"Immediately after that, she used Apple Maps on her phone to determine how long it would take someone to drive from her home in Duxbury to ThreeV Restaurant in Plymouth, so she would know how long someone would be gone if they ran that errand."

Prosecutors say that Lindsay called CVS spoke with a manager there at approximately 4:47 pm, and asked about the MiraLAX. The Assistant District Attorney stated: "According to the manager of CVS, her voice did not sound slurred or impaired in any way," and "She had no trouble understanding the defendant, and it was a perfectly normal conversation."

Sometime between 4:53 pm and 5:10 pm, prosecutors allege that Lindsay asked her husband to pick up the prescription and dinner via text. He was working from home in the basement, but she allegedly said she had a long day and hadn't cooked anything.

Patrick is said to have left the house at 5:15 pm and is seen on video at CVS at 5:32 pm.

According to prosecutors, it would be 6:11 pm before Patrick arrived home and called 911 after he saw his wife in the backyard injured and their children with ropes around their necks.

Many horrifying details were revealed, and much is still to be learned. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
