WATCH: Biden Clashes With Peter Doocy In Fiery Exchange Over 'Off-Limits' Topic

President Biden engaged in a heated exchange with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy on Wednesday regarding recent allegations that he had conversations with his son Hunter's business associates.

The confrontation took place after the President's remarks on green energy and "Bidenomics" in New Mexico.

Doocy questioned Biden about Devon Archer, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, who testified that he had witnessed the President speaking with various potential clients during his time as Vice President. Doocy began, "There's this testimony now where one of your son's former business associates is claiming that you were on speakerphone a lot with them talking business. What-"

Biden swiftly responded, "I never talked business with anybody, and I knew you'd have a lousy question."

Doocy pressed on, asking why it was considered a lousy question. The President firmly stated, "Because it's not true," before walking away from the reporter.

Biden has consistently maintained that he never discussed business deals with his son. In September 2019, he told Doocy, "I've never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings."

However, when the House Oversight Committee suggested it had evidence of direct communication between Biden and Hunter's foreign business associates, the White House seemed to shift its stance. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked in July if the President still stood by his previous statement. Jean-Pierre responded, "The answer remains the same. The President was never in business with his son. I just don't have anything else to add."

During his testimony, Archer emphasized the value of having "the brand" of Joe Biden during conversations with potential clients. He acknowledged that the association with the Biden name brought significant value to their business endeavors. Archer stated, "Yeah, that's fair to say... Obviously, that brought the most value to the brand... It was Hunter Biden and him. We would discuss having an understanding of D.C., and that was a differentiating component of us being able to raise capital."
