Rapper Nicki Minaj unleashed a blistering attack on New York Gov. Kathy Hochul this week, branding the Democrat an evil woman and urging that she forfeit her seat.

According to Breitbart, Minaj used her X account to accuse Hochul of moral corruption and to warn that the governor would face Gods wrath, signaling a sharp escalation in the entertainers increasingly outspoken political commentary. Kathy Hochul is an evil woman. The Democratic Party should forfeit her seat because even if she wins, she will be of great consequence to them, Minaj declared. Downward spiral for her. She will not escape Gods wrath. She did not denounce evil when she had the chance.

Her criticism intensified after a resurfaced clip showed Hochul claiming she wanted the world to open up to Black kids growing up in the Bronx who dont even know what the word computer is. Minaj blasted the remarks as demeaning and racially condescending, turning her fire not only on Hochul but on black voters and Christians who continue to back the Democrat.

HOW MUCH MORE DO YOU NEED TO SEE & HEAR FROM THEM?!! HOW DARE YOU AS BLACK PEOPLE VOTE FOR THIS VILE WICKED CURSE OF A WOMAN? she wrote, accusing Hochul of ignoring harm done to innocent people while posturing as a champion of minorities. HOW DARE YOU AS CHRISTIANS?! SHE STAYS SILENT ON HARM BEING CAUSED TO THE INNOCENT & THIS IS WHAT SHE THINKS OF YOUR CHILDREN! Minajs rhetoric underscored a growing frustration among some minority voters who feel taken for granted by the Democratic establishment.

Minaj has also broken with the states political status quo by endorsing Republican Bruce Blakeman for New York governor, aligning herself more clearly with conservative leadership. Hochul, for her part, dismissed the criticism with a swipe at Minajs political associations and online presence.

Maybe she oughta get outside and get offline a little more, Hochul told reporters when asked about the rappers comments. And stop going to Trump rallies, its kinda poisoning your mind. Her response framed Minajs support for President Trump and conservative events as a liability rather than a legitimate political stance.

Minajs shift rightward has been evident since her appearance at Turning Point USAs Americafest, where she spoke about rejecting elite pressure and groupthink. Sometimes you just get tired of it, and then you realize, Wait a minute, I have something inside of me thats stronger than whats out there, she said at the event.

When youve had enough, you realize, Wait a minute, why do I even care about these people and what they think? Who are they? They dont even know who they are, she added, echoing a broader conservative critique of cultural elites and signaling that her clash with Hochul may be part of a deeper realignment among high-profile cultural figures.
