Michael Desronvil, the lone black juror who refused to acquit Massachusetts mother Lindsay Clancy in the high-profile murder trial over the deaths of her three young children, has broken his silence in an exclusive sit-down with Fox News.
According to Gateway Pundit, Desronvil spoke with Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany in an interview offering a rare look inside the jury room where tensions reportedly ran high. Eleven jurors were prepared to clear Clancy of criminal responsibility, even though she admitted she had strangled her three children after sending her husband, Patrick Clancy, out on errands in January 2023.
Prosecutors argued that Clancy carefully planned the killings and understood her actions were wrong, pressing for premeditated murder charges rather than allowing a mental-health defense to erase accountability. Clancy was never diagnosed with postpartum psychosis, a fact that undercut the sweeping narrative pushed by some in the media and by advocates eager to frame the case solely as a tragedy of mental illness.
Judge Sullivan declared a mistrial last month after the panel deadlocked, with Desronvil standing alone against intense pressure to join the majority. A devout Christian and son of a Haitian immigrant, Desronvil was subsequently doxxed after NBC Boston led what critics describe as a harassment campaign aimed at punishing him for his stance.
In a teaser clip released by Fox News, Desronvil defended his position, saying, I had a lot of evidence to back up my claim. He also acknowledged that there were moments in the deliberations that were highly charged, noting that there wee moments that were tense.
In another preview segment, Desronvil said Lindsay Clancy was methodical in how she carried out the killings, reinforcing the prosecutions argument that this was a deliberate act, not an uncontrollable break from reality. His account raises serious questions about media pressure, the targeting of jurors who resist progressive narratives, and whether justice can truly be blind when those who insist on personal responsibility are publicly vilified.
