President Trump unveiled a hard-hitting new video, Lion versus the Jackal, using powerful imagery to cast himself as a besieged leader finally turning on the political predators who have stalked him since his first days in office.
The short film, released on X, stitches together footage of President Trumps 2017 inauguration with scenes of his political and legal persecution, underscoring a narrative of a populist outsider under relentless assault from the permanent bureaucracy and left-wing prosecutors, as reported by Gateway Pundit. It opens with President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump walking down Pennsylvania Avenue, waving to throngs of supporters, a moment of optimism that the video suggests was quickly shattered by an entrenched establishment determined to destroy his presidency.
According to the films framing, The Federal Government, the Deep State, declared war on the US President and his supporters and tried to destroy him from Day 1. That theme is reinforced with clips of Barack Obama in secretive meetings with Russians, New York Attorney General Letitia James pursuing junk charges in a crooked NYC court, and disgraced Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, whose bogus case was thrown out of court after she was caught sleeping with her lead prosecutor.
The narrative is intercut with the central metaphor: a powerful male lion surrounded by scavenging hyenas, a thinly veiled stand-in for President Trump facing a swarm of political jackals. Look at this lion. Hes the king of the jungle. Huge mane out to here, the voice declares, as the hyenas circle and taunt.
The jackals, hyenas, theyre barking at him, laughing at him, the narration continues, while images of hostile media, Democrat officials, and lawfare-driven prosecutions flash across the screen. They nip his toes and eat the food thats in his domain, the voice adds, portraying a corrupt class feeding off the power and wealth of the American people.
The video pointedly contrasts this predatory elite with Trumps populist message from his inaugural address. For too long, a small group in our nations capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost, he says, followed by the pledge, We are transferring power back to you, the people.
As the tension builds, the lion finally strikes back. And they get closer and closer and bolder and bolder till one day that lion gets up and tears the shit out of everybody, the narrator declares, before invoking Trumps unifying patriotic appeal: Whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots.
The closing lines drive home the message that the era of passive endurance is over. Cause every once in a while, the lion has to show the jackals who he is, the narrator warns, followed by the blunt assessment: Watch and enjoy! President Trump has had enough of the anti-American jackals.
