That endorsement, delivered despite past disagreements, underscores the continued dominance of the America First movement inside the Republican Party and the willingness of conservative voters to rally behind candidates who commit to advancing that agenda.

Sununus chief rival, Scott Brown, tried to turn the endorsement dynamic against him in the closing days of the campaign. Brown argued to Fox News Digital that Sununus got 70 endorsements on his website, but he doesnt have the presidents. He never talks about it. Hes embarrassed by it.
Brown further insisted that his own ties to the conservative base were deeper and more authentic than Sununus. Ive had the MAGA base and a lot of those so-called traditional Republicans for almost over a year, Brown highlighted. Johnny came lately, and hes here, and now he thinks everyones going to just vote for him. Thats not how it works. You got to go earn it.
Despite Browns criticism, the rapid call of the race suggests Republican voters were comfortable aligning behind the candidate explicitly blessed by President Trump and the partys Senate leadership.
