He went further, declaring, It is now existential that we try to reduce our meat consumption and that we try to respect animals in all aspects of society, language that mirrors the lefts broader push to regulate everyday life in the name of climate policy.
Boasting about his campaigns dietary purity, Talarico proclaimed, I am proud to say that our campaign has officially become a non-meat campaignwe are only buying vegan products from our local vegan businesses, a stance that risks alienating Texans who see beef and barbecue as part of their heritage.
