In a bizarre video highlighted by The Gateway Pundit, Democrat candidate NKiyla Thomas is seen sprinting into a pink bedroom, screaming and railing against Christian nationalists! before theatrically cutting out a photo of former U.S. Senator and current Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin and taping it into what she calls her Burn Book. The stunt, which looks more like a teenage social-media skit than a serious campaign message, underscores the increasingly unhinged theatrics embraced by segments of the progressive left.
The video quickly drew attention from conservative commentators, who questioned why any candidate would think such behavior helps win over voters in a deeply red state. This must be something they do on the left, one observer remarked, as the clip circulated online and raised doubts about Thomass judgment and temperament.
Another circulating clip shows what critics describe as crazy NKiyla and her chicken strips, with Thomas herself emphasizing her identity as a Black, White, and Native American (Chickasaw) woman. She really loves her chicken strips! the commentary notes, as she simultaneously showcases her open alignment with Democratic Socialists of America, proudly displaying her DSA leanings.
Thomas will face Republican Kevin Hern in the November 3rd election, setting up a stark contrast between a self-styled socialist activist and a more traditional conservative lawmaker. As one commentator put it, I think its safe to say Kevin is a bit more grounded in reality, a sentiment likely to resonate with Oklahoma voters who prefer stability, faith, and common sense over performative outrage and radical left theatrics.
