Watch: Stephen Miller Wants CBS, ABC And NBC Treated Like Democrat PACs

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller delivered a scathing indictment of the legacy press during a recent Fox News appearance, charging that Americas most powerful media institutions function as de facto political operatives for the Democratic Party rather than neutral arbiters of fact.

According to WND, Miller did not mince words as he singled out CBS, ABC, NBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Atlantic as prime offenders. His critique reflects a growing conviction among conservatives that the corporate press has abandoned even the pretense of objectivity during President Trumps second administration.

Fox News host Sean Hannity pressed Miller on why establishment outlets refuse to cover the radicalism of the modern Left or fairly report on the presidents actions. It seems like the legacy media will never tell the story about the crazy left or what the president does. Why? Hannity asked.

Millers answer was blunt and unapologetic. Because the legacy media, Sean, is fundamentally corrupt. They are an extension ofan arm ofthe Democrat Party. Honestly, Sean, the media, the legacy media like CBS and ABC and NBC, and every other legacy outlet, exists to serve and advance the interests of the Democrat Party.

He went further, explicitly naming the elite print and magazine outlets that shape so much of the political narrative. Throw in The New York Times. Throw in The Washington Post. Throw in The Atlantic. They should all be required to register as a Democrat political action committee.

For many on the Right, Miller is merely articulating what has been obvious for years. The corporate media long ago ceased to behave like impartial journalists, instead advancing Democrat narratives, burying damaging stories, attacking conservatives, and running interference whenever the Left is politically vulnerable.

These organizations increasingly appear less interested in reporting news than in manufacturing propaganda. Their editorial choices routinely favor progressive causes while casting President Trump and his supporters as villains, extremists, or worse.

Millers remarks come after years of relentlessly hostile coverage of President Trump and his policies by the so?called mainstream press. As WND noted, a Media Research Center analysis found that a staggering 93 percent of ABC, CBS, and NBCs coverage of the Trump administrations ICE operations in Minneapolis was negative.

The three networks somehow could not find time to explain why federal immigration agents were enforcing existing law, yet they devoted ample airtime to attacking Trump officials and portraying anti?ICE activists as sympathetic victims. This pattern of selective outrage and narrative?driven framing has become a hallmark of legacy outlets when conservative enforcement of the law conflicts with progressive ideology.

The double standard was equally evident during the first Trump impeachment saga. In 2020, The Gateway Pundit highlighted Pam Bondis Senate presentation detailing Hunter Bidens lucrative position with Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

The same networks that had lavished extensive live coverage on Democrat impeachment managers abruptly lost interest once President Trumps defense team began exposing the Biden familys foreign business dealings. Their sudden silence spoke volumes about which partys scandals they consider newsworthy.

President Trump has repeatedly underscored this bias. As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump accused NBC and MSNBC of producing one-sided and vicious coverage and described their relentless promotion of the Russia-collusion hoax as an enormous campaign contribution to the Democrat Party.

Millers suggestion that these outlets register as political action committees is, for now, rhetorical. Under current federal campaign?finance rules, news organizations generally qualify for a media exemption so long as they are not owned or controlled by a political party, committee, or candidate and are performing a legitimate press function, a protection that can apply even to openly biased political commentary, according to the report.

Yet the larger question Miller raises cannot be dismissed so easily. If these outlets consistently promote Democrat talking points, conceal Democrat scandals, and target Democrat opponents, Americans are justified in asking where journalism ends and partisan activism begins.

The legacy medias credibility is eroding at a rapid pace, and the damage is largely self?inflicted. Until these institutions rediscover a commitment to fairness and truth rather than ideological warfare, conservatives will continue to see them not as watchdogs of power, but as loyal foot soldiers for the Left.
