Jasmine Crockett Calls Mitch McConnell Dead, Claims Half The Senate Is Already Gone In Wild Late-Night Rant

Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) used a late-night comedy platform this week to brand Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) dead, accuse Congress of being packed with murderers and rapists, label President Donald Trump a scammer, and urge viewers to vote for a Democrat in the midterm elections if they want to see some arrests.

.

Her appearance came on ABCs Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where guest host Anthony Anderson repeatedly teed up partisan attacks and gave Crockett nearly three uninterrupted minutes to campaign on national television, according to Breitbart. In a segment framed as lighthearted banter, Anderson asked, Mitch McConnell, dead or alive? Or somewhere in between? Just going to play this game, prompting Crockett to respond with a sweeping insult aimed at the upper chamber of Congress.

So my theory is that like maybe even half of the Senate is already dead any way. Im just saying, Crockett replied, before adding, So, Im going with dead. The Texas Democrat then escalated her rhetoric when Anderson pressed her on whether she had encountered more criminals as a defense attorney or as a member of Congress.

Asked if shes met more crooks as a defense attorney or in Congress, Crockett said Definitely Congress. Okay. Like no question about it. She went further, declaring, And Ive dealt with like murderers, you know, child rapists, and clearly we got a lot we got a lot of them, effectively likening her colleagues in the legislative branch to some of the worst offenders in the criminal justice system.

Moments later, Anderson shifted to the midterm elections, giving Crockett a lengthy, unchallenged opportunity to attack Republicans and pitch Democrat control as the solution to the nations problems.

So like for sure, whether its the reflecting pool and all that nonsense. Like the American people are tired and theyre just looking for someone thats going to focus on them and make sure that education is a real possibility for their kiddos, Crockett said.

Make sure that housing is affordable and something that you dont have to, you know, turn 50 years old before you can buy your first home, right? And that jobs are available and paying well as well as protecting workers. She then tied her partisan appeal directly to the use of government power, telling viewers that electing Democrats was the path to investigations and potential prosecutions.

So, these midterms matter because if you want to stop some of the harm from being inflicted, its going to take at least having a house and a senate that can fight against that, she continued. But if you want to start some investigations and actually see some arrest, maybe or at least us subpoenaing the information that we need as it relates to the Epstein files or anything else, right, you need to vote for a Democrat.

Crockett also mused about her future beyond elected office, floating the idea of a reality television show or a return to the courtroom.

She added that regardless of her personal career path, she intends to keep using her PAC to get Democrat candidates selected, underscoring how seamlessly partisan campaigning now blends into entertainment media and late-night television.
