A disgraced Pennsylvania lawmaker with a long trail of ethical and legal problems is now facing some of the most disturbing criminal accusations imaginable.
According to Western Journal, former Pennsylvania Democratic Rep. Jesse White has been charged with possession of child pornography and receipt and distribution of child pornography after an FBI probe allegedly uncovered more than 100 illicit files across multiple laptops and hard drives, as reported by the New York Post. Court filings state that some of the children depicted were as young as 7, and investigators say White admitted to using the dark web and software such as Qbittorrent, Telegram, and the Tor browser to obtain and conceal the material.
The Post reported that the content allegedly included children between 7 and 15 engaged in sexual acts, along with nude images of girls aged 8 to 14. The investigation was launched after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip about suspected homemade child pornography that included an image of a boy, believed to be 5 or 6 years old, in the shower.
In that image, a man wearing a wedding band could be seen, and investigators say the photo was taken in January 2019 on a phone belonging to White. A separate tip involved a nude image of another male child, estimated to be between 9 and 11 years old, allegedly taken in August 2021.
The criminal complaint includes a chilling note from an FBI investigator: Jesse White has two minor male children. White previously served in the Pennsylvania General Assembly from 2007 to 2015, representing the 46th District, giving him years of influence and access as an elected Democrat.
KDKA-TV reported that Whites fall from public office has been marked by scandal and apparent moral collapse. He was disbarred in 2017, surrendering his law license after allegedly stealing more than $100,000 from clients to feed a gambling addiction, though those charges were later dropped.
The same outlet reported that White was sued by his own mother in 2015 for allegedly impersonating her to obtain a credit card and run up $27,000 in debt. KDKA also conducted a separate investigation alleging that he used fake online identities to smear and harass his political opponents.
For many Americans who still believe in objective right and wrong, the latest allegations demand the harshest lawful penalties available. As the original commentary bluntly put it, The latest allegation should carry a long prison sentence along with castration.
Public officials have been implicated in appalling crimes before, but there is a recurring pattern of such figures aligning with the political left. The commentary asks why this is so and answers starkly: Why? Their morality is totally skewed.
