A DoorDash courier who openly celebrated communism online has reportedly lost access to the platform after boasting about canceling a Department of Homeland Security food order and diverting the meal elsewhere.
The controversy erupted after a social media user, apparently a DoorDash driver in Buffalo, New York, claimed she had intercepted food ordered by a local detention facility and delivered it instead to a community pantry, according to The Blaze. The account, posting under the handle nixxslingerland, featured a profile photo of the user wearing a Black Lives Matter shirt, underscoring the increasingly common overlap between radical left-wing activism and brazen disregard for basic property rights.
In one widely shared post, the user allegedly wrote, "Just dropped off another cancelled nazi DoorDash to my free pantry and was handed this large bag of m&ms in return. I love communism." She apparently elaborated in another message, "For new people who are unaware, there's unfortunately a detention center right in my town, and every single time I contact support and tell them they need to remove the location completely, I doubt they ever will, but it still feels good getting their orders cancelled and donating their food."
The popular Libs of TikTok account publicized screenshots of the posts on Wednesday, prompting a swift response from DoorDash. "This Dasher's account has been deactivated," the companys official account announced within hours, signaling that at least one major corporation is unwilling to indulge this kind of ideological vandalism.
DoorDash further clarified its position in a statement addressing the alleged conduct. "Misusing the safety-unassign feature to intentionally cancel orders and redirect the food based on where it's going is theft and a violation of both our Community Guidelines and Platform Access Policy," the company said, adding, "When our support team attempted to address their report and explain our policies, the individual was abusive toward the agent, which is a separate violation."
The user at the center of the uproar appears to have deleted or renamed the account after the backlash, and related accounts did not respond to inquiries for comment. Blaze News reported that the posts were only a few days old when they surfaced, suggesting the conduct was not a one-off lapse but part of a pattern the user openly celebrated.
For conservatives who believe in the rule of law and respect for private property, the episode is a stark illustration of where unchecked leftist rhetoric can lead: a gig worker proudly calling federal employees nazis and treating theft as virtue so long as it is cloaked in social justice language. DoorDash itself has previously been targeted by anti-Trump activists after a marketing stunt involving a McDonalds delivery to the White House during President Donald Trumps tenure, but this time the company drew a clear linereminding drivers that political extremism is no excuse for stealing from paying customers.
