According to The Washington Times, Mr. Schroyer was selected to replace Todd Lyons, who stepped down as ICE director in late May after a brief tenure overseeing the agencys renewed enforcement push. David Venturella, a former ICE office director, has been serving as acting director while the administration searched for a permanent nominee.
