Watch: Gavin Newsoms Victim Meltdown Over Media Bias Just Backfired In A Way He Never Saw Coming

California Governor Gavin Newsom is drawing sharp criticism after alleging that Democrats lack support from mainstream media and that he personally has been treated unfairly by major news outlets.

According to Sean Hannity, Newsoms remarks have sparked widespread ridicule from critics who argue his complaints ignore years of largely favorable coverage from legacy media institutions that routinely lean left. Many conservatives see his comments as yet another example of a Democratic leader attempting to cast himself as a victim, despite enjoying what they view as a long-standing media advantage over Republicans and especially over President Donald Trump.

In a recent outburst, Newsom singled out right-leaning outlets and figures by name, targeting The Daily Wire, The New York Post, The California Post, Fox & Friends, Chris Rufo of the Manhattan Institute, and more in what detractors have described as a paranoid tirade. He went on to portray conservative media as uniquely toxic, declaring, Its this circular ecosystem a sewer that has the presidential seal, Newsom claimed.

Newsom then contrasted conservative platforms with left-leaning cable networks, insisting they do not engage in the same behavior, saying, With respect, I dont see that on MSNBC I sure as hell dont see it on CNN, Newsom said. For many on the right, those comments only underscore how deeply embedded liberal narratives have become in corporate media, and how unwilling Democratic leaders are to acknowledge that advantage even as they attack the few outlets that challenge their agenda.
