Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) erupted in anger on a Fox News reporter in Washington, D.C., after being confronted with unproven claims that she had a sexual relationship with one of the Houses most notorious RINOs.
According to The Gateway Pundit, Fox News reported that Cynthia West, a former congressional staffer for Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN), alleged that Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) boasted to her about having sexual relations with Boebert just weeks after his wifes death. West further claimed that Massie offered her $5,000 to drop a wrongful termination lawsuit she had filed against Spartz, adding yet another layer of intrigue to an already explosive accusation.
Fox News noted that these allegations surfaced only a week before Massie lost his House seat in the May 19 Republican primary to pro-Trump businessman Ed Gallrein, a result that underscored the growing strength of the MAGA wing within the GOP. When confronted on a D.C. street about the alleged affair, Boebert reacted furiously, making clear she would not play along with what she viewed as a smear.
F**k you, first of all! Boebert snapped at the reporter, who immediately responded, No,no,no. Boebert pressed on, blasting the line of questioning as demeaning and politically motivated, saying, If youre going to bring me into this, like this sexist stuff is out of control! So, theres the clickbait youre looking for.
I dont want to talk about anybodys exes and the crazy sh*t that they do, she added, before abruptly ending the exchange and walking away. It should be emphasized that no evidence has emerged showing that Boebert and Massie engaged in a sexual affair, a fact often buried when such accusations are weaponized against outspoken conservatives.
As Fox News reported, the confrontation followed a question about whether President Trumps strategy of backing primary challengers against RINO incumbents is harming the GOP agenda. Boebert defended the broader effort to hold establishment Republicans accountable, while conceding mixed feelings about one loss in particular, saying, I think most of the folks that have lost their primaries, they were backfiring on the GOP agenda: Cassidy, Cornyn, and adding, I mean, obviously Thomas Massie is the only one that Im a little sad about.
