President Donald Trump on Thursday confirmed that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is now playing a central role in his administrations probe of alleged voter fraud in Georgias 2020 election.
According to The Gateway Pundit, Gabbards involvement became public after she appeared alongside federal agents as the FBI executed search warrants at the Fulton County Department of Elections on Wednesday, a move that immediately triggered outrage from top Democrats.
Per PBS, Sen. Mark Warner and Rep. Jim Himes, the top Democrats on committees overseeing national intelligence, are calling on Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard to brief them on why she was present at an FBI search of an election office in Georgia this week that has been central to conspiracy theories over President Donald Trumps 2020 election loss.
The two lawmakers branded Gabbards presence deeply concerning in a formal letter demanding answers from the intelligence chief. The Intelligence Community should be focused on foreign threats and, as you yourself have testified, when those intelligence authorities are turned inwards the results can be devastating for Americans privacy and civil liberties, the letter reads.
Gabbard, a former Democrat who has broken sharply with her partys leadership, has also taken point on exposing the Russiagate narrative that dominated the early years of President Trumps tenure. She previously revealed that Barack Obama and his administration orchestrated a years-long coup and treasonous conspiracy against the American people, our Republic, in an attempt to undermine President Trumps administration.
Speaking at a screening of the new Melania film at the Trump-Kennedy Center, President Trump praised Gabbards efforts to restore election integrity. He told reporters that Gabbard is working very hard on trying to keep the elections safe, and shes done a very good job.
The President hinted that the Georgia investigation is entering a decisive phase, suggesting that long-sought transparency may finally be at hand. Youve got a signed judges order in Georgia, and youre going to see some interesting things happening, Trump continued.
Theyve been trying to get there for a long time. Trump added that they got into the votes, underscoring his belief that federal investigators are finally examining evidence that state and local officials long resisted opening to scrutiny.
As reported by The Gateway Pundit, the FBIs search warrant in Fulton County authorizes agents to seize all physical paper ballots and envelopes, all tabulator tapes for every voting machine used, all ballot images from the initial November 3, 2020 count and subsequent recounts, and the voter rolls used to issue ballots in the 2020 election.
For conservatives who have demanded a full accounting of what happened in Georgia, Gabbards prominent role and the breadth of the FBIs seizure order signal that the fight over election integrity in 2020 is far from over.
