Leaked Meeting Exposes How Radical NYC Group Mainstreamed Extremist Rhetoric

A New York City activist collective on the far left is openly strategizing to brand President Donald Trumps immigration enforcement policies as ethnic cleansing, even as Democrat officials in Minnesota escalate their rhetoric against federal immigration officers.

According to The Post Millennial, the group Rise and Resist, which has long targeted federal immigration authorities, is now seeking to normalize language that equates lawful border enforcement with some of historys darkest atrocities. In video obtained by former teacher Paul Rossi from a meeting held last week, one member admitted the organization has been deliberately testing and pushing extreme terminology into the mainstream.

"As a group, Rise and Resist has struggled with terminology, with embracing terminology. We had to struggle with using the term 'Abolish ICE.' Look where that is now. We had to struggle with using the term 'fascism' and 'fascist.' Look where that is now. We struggled with using the term 'Gestapo.' Look where that is now." She continued by celebrating how such language has migrated from the fringe into cable news and political discourse, signaling the next escalation in their messaging campaign.

"The most mainstream pundits are using these terms. And now were gonna startwere gonna lead with: this is ethnic cleansing. Call it what it is," she added. The effort reflects a broader pattern on the left of redefining routine law enforcement as inherently illegitimate, a tactic that undermines public trust in institutions tasked with upholding federal law.

In Minnesota, that narrative has been amplified by top Democrats following the weekend shooting of anti-ICE agitator Alex Pretti. Governor Tim Walz told Americans to "quit referring to these people as law enforcement. They are not law enforcement," and further claimed that children in the state are "hiding in their houses, afraid to go outside," adding, "Many of us grew up reading that story of Anne Frank. Somebody is gonna write that story about Minnesota, and theres one person who can end this now."

After a separate shooting of another anti-ICE agitator earlier in the month, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey escalated the rhetoric even further. Frey told ICE to "get the f*ck out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here. Your stated reason for being in this city is to create some kind of safety, and you are doing exactly the opposite."

Rise and Resist, meanwhile, continues to organize high-profile actions in New York City, including its weekly "Truth Tuesdays" protest outside Fox News headquarters and a recurring "Immigration Vigil."

On Friday, the group joined a large rally titled "ICE Out for Good: NYC Stands with Minneapolis," underscoring how coordinated activist pressure and incendiary language from Democrat leaders are converging to delegitimize federal immigration enforcement at the very moment the nation faces a historic border and public safety crisis.
