A West Virginia public librarian is in custody after authorities say she used social media to solicit killers to pursue and assassinate President Donald Trump.

According to WND, Jackson County Sheriff RH Mellinger announced Sunday evening that Following a detailed evening investigation by deputies and the Jackson County Bureua of Investigations, Morgan L. Morrow, age 39 of Ripley, has been detained, arrested, and transported to SCRJ following a social media recruitment of individuals to pursue and assassinate President Trump.

In a written statement, the sheriff emphasized the gravity of the allegation, noting that Morrow is charged with one count of TERRORISTIC THREATS, and indicated that additional information would be made public as facts are compiled.

Sheriff Mellinger stressed that the case is being handled strictly as a law-enforcement matter rather than a partisan dispute, declaring, This is not meant to be a political-oriented statement. He added, This is an active criminal investigation with documented and troubling concerns.

Morrow, identified as an employee of the Jackson County Public Library, is being held at the South Central Regional Jail. Authorities say no bail has been set, underscoring the seriousness with which threats against a sitting president are treated under federal and state law.

The arrest highlights once again how political hatred, often amplified online, can escalate into explicit calls for violence against national leaders. While the investigation continues, the case serves as a stark reminder that, regardless of political views, incitements to pursue and assassinate President Trump cross a bright legal and moral line that a civil society cannot afford to ignore.
