According to WND, the President used his Truth Social platform on Sunday to signal a dramatic shift in Washingtons posture toward Havana, explicitly linking Cubas fate to the collapse of the Venezuelan regime it long helped prop up. Cuba lived, for many years, on large amounts of OIL and MONEY from Venezuela. In return, Cuba provided Security Services for the last two Venezuelan dictators, BUT NOT ANYMORE! he wrote.
Trump asserted that the U.S. strike that removed Maduro also decimated Cuban operatives embedded in Venezuelas security apparatus. Most of those Cubans are DEAD from last weeks U.S.A. attack, and Venezuela doesnt need protection anymore from the thugs and extortionists who held them hostage for so many years, he declared.
Positioning American power as the new guarantor of Venezuelan sovereignty, Trump emphasized Washingtons military dominance while underscoring a break with the era of leftist solidarity between Caracas and Havana. Venezuela now has the United States of America, the most powerful military in the World (by far!), to protect them, and protect them we will, he stated.
