Trump Complains DOJ Obsessed With Epstein Files Instead Of 'Glaring' Issue They Should Be Focused On

President Donald Trump has expressed his desire for the Department of Justice to prioritize "election fraud" investigations over the release of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted child sex offender.

According to Mediaite, Trump voiced his concerns on Truth Social, criticizing the DOJ for their focus on the Epstein files, which they recently announced include over one million additional pages. "Now 1,000,000 more pages on Epstein are found. DOJ is being forced to spend all of its time on this Democrat inspired Hoax. When do they say NO MORE, and work on Election Fraud etc.," the president stated.

The DOJ has already released thousands of Epstein-related documents, but they have requested additional time to comply fully with a law mandating their release, a law signed by Trump himself. Critics have pointed out that the DOJ missed the deadline earlier this month and have noted the extensive redactions in the documents that have been made public.

In his post, Trump accused Democrats of collaborating with Epstein, distancing Republicans from any association despite his past friendship with Epstein. "The Dems are the ones who worked with Epstein, not the Republicans. Release all of their names, embarrass them, and get back to helping our Country! The Radical Left doesnt want people talking about TRUMP & REPUBLICAN SUCCESS, only a long ago dead Jeffrey Epstein Just another Witch Hunt!!!" he asserted.

Trump's comments were a reaction to a Christmas message regarding Epstein, where he criticized "sleazebags" who supported Epstein until it became inconvenient. He emphasized his own decision to sever ties with Epstein, stating, "Of course, President Donald J. Trump, who was actually the only one who did drop Epstein, and long before it became fashionable to do so."
