JD Vance Tackles Navy SEAL Workout That Left Him Feeling 'Hit By A Freight Train'

Vice President JD Vance recently engaged in a rigorous 90-minute physical training session with some of the nation's most elite soldiers, the Navy SEALs, which left him feeling as though he had been "hit by a freight train."

Vance expressed his gratitude towards these warriors, stating, "Just finished PT with the Navy SEALs for 90 minutes (Ill post some photos when I get them). They took it easy on me and I still feel like I got hit by a freight train. So grateful to all of our warriors who keep us safe and keep the highest standards anywhere in the world!"

As reported by Breitbart, Vance participated in various stages of the SEALs' training regimen at their facility in Coronado, California. A Marine Corps veteran himself, Vance served in the Iraq War, having joined the military in 2003 and deployed to Iraq in 2006 with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing in a public affairs capacity.

His military experience has significantly shaped his views on national security, the costs of war, and the heavy responsibility leaders bear when sending troops into dangerous situations.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has emphasized the importance of maintaining physical fitness among American service members, extending this expectation to the general and flag-officer ranks. Vance, embodying this principle, even shared a meme reflecting on his experience with SEAL training.

His commitment to understanding the rigors faced by those in uniform underscores a broader conservative value of honoring and supporting the military, recognizing the sacrifices made by those who serve, and ensuring that the nation's defense remains robust and effective.
