Joe Rogan Torches Trumps White House Fight Night Dream Days After Odd Guy Jab

President Donald Trump has announced ambitious plans to host UFC fights on the White House lawn as part of the United States' 250th birthday celebrations next year.

However, the proposal has met with skepticism from Joe Rogan, a prominent podcaster and UFC analyst. Rogan, who played a significant role in last year's election by interviewing and endorsing Trump, expressed doubts about the feasibility of the event during a recent podcast episode.

According to the Daily Mail, Trump revealed that UFC President Dana White is orchestrating an event featuring eight or nine championship bouts, each billed as a legendary fight. "The great Dana White is building an arena, and theyre going to have eight or nine championship fights, the biggest fights theyve ever had," Trump stated.

Rogan, however, questioned the logistics, noting, "First of all, theres only eight weight classes so hows there gonna be nine title fights?" He further highlighted potential security concerns for an event expected to draw up to 100,000 attendees.

Rogan, who shares a close relationship with Dana White, also pointed out the challenges of hosting an outdoor fight in Washington, D.C.'s summer heat. He recounted an outdoor event in Louisiana where fighters struggled with the conditions, saying, "Louisiana, you could cut that air." Rogan's guest, UFC fighter Brendan Allen, expressed reluctance to participate, citing the "weird pressure, security, protocols" involved.

In a broader discussion about Trump, Rogan described the President as "an odd guy" who often reaches out unexpectedly. Tech billionaire Jensen Huang, who was present during one of Trump's calls to Rogan, echoed this sentiment, noting Trump's attentive listening skills. While Rogan acknowledged not agreeing with all of Trump's actions, he emphasized the complexity of the President's character, stating, "A lot of different things wrapped up into one person."
