The meeting is scheduled to occur at the White House this Friday.
"Communist Mayor of New York City, Zohran 'Kwame' Mamdani, has asked for a meeting. We have agreed that this meeting will take place at the Oval Office on Friday, November 21st. Further details to follow!" Trump stated, as reported by The Post Millennial.
The President, a native of New York City, has been vocal in his criticism of Mamdani, who is affiliated with the Democratic Socialists of America and has been endorsed by prominent left-wing figures such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders. Mamdani, who emerged victorious in the Democratic primary in June, defeated former Governor Andrew Cuomo and GOP contender Curtis Sliwa in the general election. The incumbent mayor, Eric Adams, withdrew from the race in September.
