The political career of former Vice President Kamala Harris has always been a subject of intrigue and bewilderment for the discerning observer.
The most perplexing aspect is the portrayal of Harris as a serious political figure, rather than an example of the potential downfall of meritocracy.
In a recent interview posted on YouTube, Harris made a peculiar statement about her strategy for the 2024 presidential election, claiming that she played "three-dimensional chess." This phrase, which is typically used to describe complex and strategic thinking, is simply known as chess to the rest of the world.
The interview was part of a series titled "Storehouse & Friends," which appears to be a new addition to the YouTube platform. As reported by Western Journal, as of Tuesday morning, the channel's content was predominantly related to Harris, and it had just over 1,000 subscribers.
The video commenced with a series of young black women expressing their admiration for the former Vice President. The interviewers, also young black women, maintained this tone of appreciation throughout the conversation.
Harris's puzzling chess comment was in response to a question posed by Kiaira Nixon, a self-proclaimed "communications strategist and advocate for social justice." Nixon asked Harris, "How did you determine which battles were worth fighting for in that moment and which required more patience?" referring to the daily challenges of the 2024 campaign.
In response, Harris launched into a discourse about President Donald Trump's alleged strategy and her approach to counter it. "I understood the game that was being played," Harris said. "And I made a decision that I wasn't gonna get played." Following her statement, Harris laughed, seemingly implying that she had shared some profound insight into her political acumen.
However, it's worth noting that Harris did not win the election, a fact that seems to contradict her claim of strategic superiority.
Nixon, perhaps attempting to steer the conversation away from Harris's questionable statement, responded with, "Chess not checkers. Got it." Harris, unable to resist, added, "Yeah. Three-dimensional chess. Im tellin ya."
This exchange, which begins around the 24:26 mark in the YouTube video, was met with ridicule by Trump supporters on the social media platform X. They described Harris with phrases such as "drunk again," "brain dead," "IQ of an acorn," and "dumb as a box of rocks."
Harris's political career has become a source of amusement for many, with her statements often resembling a "word salad." Even in this adulatory interview, Harris's lack of substance was evident. Nixon, despite her self-proclaimed social justice leanings, appeared too intelligent to be engaging with a figure like Harris, who seems to lack any substantial political or intellectual depth.
In essence, Harris's political career seems to be devoid of any significant substance. However, to modern liberals, her skin color and gender appear to be the only factors of importance. As long as liberals continue to present Harris as a serious political figure, we will continue to afford her the respect she deserves.
