In a significant diplomatic event, Vice President JD Vance administered the oath of office to Sergio Gor, appointing him as the U.S. Ambassador to India.

The ceremony took place in the Oval Office, with President Donald Trump and several Cabinet members in attendance, underscoring the importance of this appointment.

As reported by Breitbart, the ceremony was attended by notable figures including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk, and Fox News's Laura Ingraham.

Their presence highlighted the high regard in which Gor is held within the administration. Vice President Vance remarked, I think its a great testament to you, Sergio, that you got multiple cabinet secretaries, Erica Kirk, the president of the United States. This crowd will not turn out for just anybody, but it turned out for Sergio Gor.

Gor's new role as Ambassador to India and special envoy to South and Central Asia follows his tenure as director of the White House Office of Presidential Personnel, a position he has held since January. President Trump praised Gor's leadership, stating, As my director of Office of Presidential Personnel from the early days of transition, Sergios leadership was essential to fulfilling the historic mandate entrusted to us by the American people, and thats what weve done.

Trump further highlighted Gor's efficiency in staffing the administration, noting, We hired 4,000 appointees across every federal department in record time, including over 1,000 appointments on day one.

Gor's contributions extend beyond his administrative role. He played a pivotal part in Trump's presidential campaign, leading the Right for America super PAC and serving as CEO of Winning Team Publishing, which published notable works such as "Letters to Trump" and "Save America."

In his remarks, Gor expressed his commitment to strengthening U.S.-India relations, saying, I look forward to enhancing the relationship between our two nations. But again, thank you for entrusting me with this position, and I look forward to doing a great job for you.

Gor also lauded President Trump's accomplishments since returning to office, asserting, What you have achieved in 10 months has been historic, has surpassed any other presidency, and I fully believe what you will achieve in the next three years will never be beaten.

This statement reflects a strong endorsement of Trump's leadership and the administration's achievements, aligning with conservative values of effective governance and international diplomacy.
