Sean Hannity To Host Last-Minute Town Hall With New Jersey GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Jack Ciattarelli

Sean Hannity, a prominent host on Fox News, has announced his intention to moderate a town hall event featuring Jack Ciattarelli, the Republican candidate for New Jersey's gubernatorial race.

This event is slated to be broadcast on Fox News this Thursday, offering voters a closer look at Ciattarelli's campaign as he attempts to shift the traditionally Democratic state of New Jersey towards Republican leadership.

The gubernatorial race in New Jersey has garnered significant attention, with Ciattarelli aiming to unseat Democratic Governor Phil Murphy, whom he narrowly lost to in 2021. Recent polling data indicates a tightening race between Ciattarelli and his Democratic opponent, Representative Mikie Sherrill.

As reported by Fox News, a poll conducted from October 10 to 14 shows Sherrill leading with 50% support among likely voters, while Ciattarelli trails closely at 45%. This marks a decrease in Sherrill's lead from an earlier 8-point advantage in September.

In a conversation with Fox News Digital on October 15, Ciattarelli highlighted his previous electoral gains in traditionally Democratic strongholds such as Hudson and Passaic Counties. He emphasized the influence of President Donald Trump in these areas, stating, "And the president did very, very well in '24 in those very same counties.

And if you take a look at who's been endorsing me, including some very prominent Democrats here in Hudson County, people want change."

Sherrill, on the other hand, has criticized Ciattarelli for his alignment with President Trump's policies. She accused him of failing to oppose the President, asserting, "In fact, the president himself called Jack 100% MAGA, and he's shown every sign of being that."

The campaign has been marred by contentious allegations from both sides. Sherrill's military records reveal that the United States Naval Academy barred her from participating in her 1994 graduation due to a cheating scandal, which Ciattarelli has deemed disqualifying. In retaliation, Sherrill has accused Ciattarelli of being "complicit" in the opioid crisis affecting New Jersey, citing his ownership of a medical publishing company that allegedly promoted opioids as a low-risk treatment for chronic pain.
