Trump Jr. Calls Out The View Host Over MAGA Hat Bet After Trumps Israeli Hostage Win

Promises, especially those made on camera, have a way of resurfacing.

Donald Trump Jr. is calling on Alyssa Farah Griffin, co-host of The View, to fulfill her on-air commitment to don a MAGA hat if President Trump successfully facilitated the release of Israeli hostages.

On Monday, the president's eldest son shared a video clip of Griffin making this pledge earlier in the year, captioning it with, Sending this to the top. Lets go. The post has garnered significant attention, amassing 3.5 million views and over 172,000 likes, alongside a wave of AI-generated images depicting Griffin and her co-hosts in bright red MAGA hats.

According to Sean Hannity, representatives for ABC have yet to respond to a request for comment from the Post. The release of the 20 remaining living hostages by Hamas on Monday marked a significant milestone in a historic ceasefire agreement that President Trump negotiated between Israel and the terrorist organization.

In December, Griffin stated on The View, If [Trump] does good, if he gets the Israeli hostages out, I promise I will wear a MAGA hat for one day on this show and say thank you for doing it. Her co-host, Sunny Hostin, a legal analyst known for her left-leaning views, interjected, Please dont do that.

Griffin humorously replied, Shell knock it right off my head, adding, You have to be able to cheer for wins when they happen and then call out relentlessly the wrongdoing.

Griffin, who previously served as White House director of strategic communications and assistant to the president in 2020, may now find herself preparing to honor her promise. The question remains whether she will indeed wear the iconic red hat on air, acknowledging the achievement she once pledged to recognize.
