CNN's Lone Conservative Voice, Scott Jennings, Blasts Democrats: 'History Began Ten Months Ago? (VIDEO)

In a fiery critique on CNN, Scott Jennings, the network's sole conservative commentator, lambasted Democrats for their defense of New York Attorney General Letitia James, who now faces indictment.

Jennings accused James of building her career on the "selective prosecution" of President Donald Trump, a claim that has ignited a heated debate over the fairness of legal proceedings against the former president.

Jennings expressed incredulity at what he perceives as a collective amnesia among Democrats and media figures, who, in his view, are ignoring the past decade's events. "It is amazing watching Democrats and people in media come down with amnesia and pretend that the last ten years just didnt happen," he remarked.

"They act like all of this is happening in a vacuum. Like history began ten months ago and nothing that happened before that time has any meaning at all."

According to Gateway Pundit, Jennings' comments were part of a broader discussion on the perceived double standards in the legal treatment of political figures. He specifically targeted Democrats like Slotkin, who have voiced concerns about selective prosecutions. Jennings argued, "If Democrats like Slotkin are going to come out today and whine about selective prosecutions over Tish Jamesher ENTIRE career is built on the selective prosecution of one man."

Jennings acknowledged the legal process, noting that "a grand jury saw enough evidence to bring charges," and emphasized that James, like anyone else, is entitled to her day in court. However, he criticized the notion of selective prosecution, particularly against someone who, as he put it, "promised in her campaigns, who went after him on things... that had no business ever happening, if not but for the mans last name being Trump."

The controversy surrounding James is not new. As reported by the Daily Beast, she has been a vocal critic of President Trump, famously declaring, "the Donald Trump show is over" after he attended a trial in New York City. This trial, which could potentially dismantle his real estate empire, has been a focal point of her legal efforts against him. James has also dismissed Trump's personal attacks as "devoid of any facts" and "nothing more than a political stunt," further accusing him of inciting violence and engaging in race-baiting.

James' actions have not been without consequence. Her criticism of Trump's social media post targeting a court clerk resulted in Judge Arthur Engoron imposing a gag order on the former president. Engoron had previously ruled that Trump defrauded banks and insurance companies by inflating property values to secure favorable loans and benefits.
