Katie Miller, the spouse of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, recently addressed an attempt by leftist activists to intimidate her family.
The incident unfolded over the weekend, as captured in a video shared by Corey Inganamort of Townhall on the social media platform X. The footage depicted a woman inscribing the phrase "Miller is preying on families" in vibrant chalk on a sidewalk, accompanied by others who were writing politically charged messages near the Millers' residence.
According to Western Journal, Inganamort highlighted the timing of the protest, noting it occurred just days after the tragic assassination of conservative figure Charlie Kirk.
He remarked, "Just four days after the political assassination of Charlie Kirk, @arlingtondems are chalking messages of hate towards @StephenM and @KatieMiller just blocks away from their home. I asked them to explain Miller is preying on families and all were too cowardly to respond.
When questioned about the appropriateness of such rhetoric in light of Kirk's assassination, one woman whispered, "yeah," and added, "Oh shut up... If youre insane, anything can incite you."
The confrontation escalated when another woman from the group accused Inganamort of harassment, stating, "I think this might be harassment. Back off, I feel threatened by you! You are threatening women. Youre a tall man, and youre threatening us, and we feel unsafe."
Inganamort also shared images of other chalk messages that mocked Miller's wife and echoed far-left ideologies.
In response, Katie Miller posted a video of herself erasing the messages, accompanied by a statement: "To the Tolerant Left who spent their day trying to intimidate us in the house where we have three young children: We will not back down. We will not cower in fear. We will double down. Always, For Charlie."
Charlie Kirk, a prominent conservative commentator, was tragically killed at the age of 31, after being shot in the neck by a rooftop assassin during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. Federal authorities have apprehended a suspect, Tyler Robinson, 22, in connection with the incident.
In recognition of his contributions, Kirk was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Donald Trump. His memorial service is set to take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, home to the NFL's Arizona Cardinals.
