Trump Announces Which State Is Next For National Guard Deployment!

President Donald Trump has announced plans to dispatch the National Guard to Memphis, Tennessee, prioritizing the city over Chicago.

During a Friday morning appearance on Fox and Friends, he stated his intention to send National Guard troops to address the city's crime issues. "So we're going to Memphis," Trump declared, emphasizing his commitment to deploying "the National Guard and anybody else we need" to tackle the crime problem.

According to The Post Millennial, Trump expressed his preference for initially targeting Chicago, but acknowledged the concerns of Memphis's mayor and the state's governor regarding the city's crime rate. "We're going to fix that just like we did Washington. I would have preferred going to Chicago," he remarked.

He further elaborated, "By the way, we'll bring in the military too if we need it, and the National Guard. But Memphis is, look, it's a great Music City. It's, you know, home of Elvis and everything else."

Earlier in the summer, the President successfully deployed the National Guard in Washington, DC, which resulted in a noticeable reduction in violent crime in the capital. Following this success, Trump had repeatedly indicated plans to send the National Guard and ICE to Chicago to address crime and illegal immigration.

However, these plans have faced resistance from Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, who have both opposed the deployment of federal forces in their city. As the situation unfolds, the President's focus on Memphis underscores his administration's commitment to restoring law and order in American cities grappling with crime.
