GOP Senator Fumes Over Florida's New 'No Mandate' Policy!

During a recent appearance on NewsNation's "On Balance," Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas expressed his reservations about Florida's decision to eliminate all vaccine mandates.

He characterized the move as "a bridge way too far" and described it as "an overreaction" stemming from widespread distrust in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

As reported by Breitbart, Marshall elaborated on his stance, acknowledging that while he questions the frequent use of the Hepatitis vaccine, he supports the MMR vaccine, stating, "MMR makes perfect sense to me. You dont give it until 1 year of age. The chances of dying from the measles is like 1,000 times more than the chance of a significant side effect from the vaccine."

His comments highlight a nuanced perspective on vaccination, recognizing the importance of certain vaccines while advocating for a more discerning approach to others.

Marshall further emphasized his appreciation for vaccines that have historically eradicated deadly diseases. "Im grateful for the vaccines. They have saved millions of lives," he remarked, citing the smallpox and polio vaccines as prime examples.

He expressed strong support for the polio vaccine, stating, "Polio vaccines, Im absolutely in favor of, just 110%... Proud that theres no polio in America right now. There [are] only three nations in the world with polio, as well. That would be another example of a drug thats been around for decades, and, by far, the benefits outweigh the risk."

Marshall's comments underscore a conservative perspective that values individual choice and skepticism towards government mandates, while also acknowledging the life-saving impact of certain vaccines.
