Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Sparks Controversy After Slamming Biden Over This...

Presidential candidate Robert F.

Kennedy Jr. is running against President Biden for the Democrat nomination in 2024. Breitbart reports that RFK Jr. has taken a position against transgender individuals participating in womens sports. The candidate spoke against the idea of biological males playing in womens sports while on CNN. He stated that it is unfair to have biological males participating in womens sports. This is a view shared by many who have an issue with the fact that biological males participate in womens sports.

I am against people participating in womens sports who are biologically male, said Kennedy. He continued, saying, "I think women have worked too hard to develop womens sports over the past 30 years. I watched it happen, and I dont think thats fair.

Kennedy stated that transgender people in womens sports are an area where he and Biden differ significantly. He made it a point to highlight the differences between himself and the President on this point. He wanted to point it out because he has to try to do everything that he can to create distance between himself and Biden. After all, the two are running for the Democrat nomination, and RFK Jr. needs something to set himself apart from the President to get some attention for his positions and issues.

Breitbart News reports that the Biden administrations Education Department has been a fierce defender of allowing transgender athletes in womens sports. The Department has suggested that it might yank all funding from any educational institution that denies transgender athletes from competing in womens sports.

In a proposed rule, the Department of Education said it would establish that policies violate Title IX when they categorically ban transgender students from participating on sports teams consistent with their gender identity just because of who they are.

At the same time, the proposed rules state that in some instances, particularly in competitive high school and college athletic environments, some schools may adopt policies that limit transgender students participation.

The rule will also be used to protect transgender athletes from being discriminated against if they decide they want to compete in womens sports. The Biden Administration is highly interested in transgender athletes regardless of what this could mean for non-trans athletes.

It appears that this thinking is not uniform within the Democrat Party. The fact that RFK Jr. has taken a position against transgender athletes competing in womens sports shows a split in the way that some in the party think.
