Nikki Haley is a Republican Presidential nominee shooting hard for the White House.
Her latest remarks have Democrats fuming, and The View took it upon themselves to blast her for what she said. Haley says that Biden might not live through another presidential term. Shes not wrong, though.
According to Raw Story, The South Carolina Republican responded to Bidens official entry into the 2024 campaign by telling Fox News that Vice President Kamala Harris would likely take over for Biden because she didnt think he would live to be 86, which would be his age at the end of a second term, and the panelists were appalled.
Joy asked what Haley was implying, while co-host Ana Navarro sarcastically said that now Haley could predict the future. According to Sunny Hostin, it was racist. Hostin said, Its terrible because what she wanted to do was throw a dig at Kamala Harris, she wanted to throw a dig at another woman of color, she wanted to throw a dig at the Vice President of the United States. Hostin went on to say that it was a crass thing to say that good politicians dont comment like that and that the country suffers from ageism.
Then, Hostin defended Biden, saying that you get wisdom with age, and theres nothing to indicate anything wrong with his brain. I think most of us have to disagree with that one as he struggles to form a coherent sentence, but to each their own.
One host of The View had a valid point. Alyssa Griffin agreed the remarks were morbid but said Bidens age needs to be discussed.
If Biden is re-elected, hell be the oldest President in the history of the United States at the end of his second term.
